Canisius picked up its third conference win over Saint Peter’s in a 79-74 game. Canisius had four players score in double-figures to lead a balanced offensive attack. Vannessa Garrelts led Canisius with 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists while Dani Haskell recorded 16 points, five assists and three steals in the game. Jane McCauley recorded 15 points, shooting 5-9 from 3-point territory. Reigning MAAC Rookie of the Week Sisi Eleko added in 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in the Golden Griff’s win. Saint Peter’s Amaris Mills led all scorers on the day with 23 points, and Jada Williams added in 15 points and seven rebounds for the Peacocks.

Iona took down Rider in a road matchup on Thursday in a 68-44 contest. Senior guard Juana Camilion led Iona with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in the game. Kate Mager connected on five 3-pointers in the contest to add in 15 points for the Gaels and Ketsia Athias chipped in nine points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four blocks in the win. Marist defeated Manhattan at home on Thursday in conference play in a 56-43 outing. Kendall Krick was the top performer for Marist with 20 points and seven rebounds. Zaria Shazer recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the game for the Red Foxes’. Brazil Harvey-Carr led Manhattan on the day with 11 points and four rebounds.
