Men’s Runner of the Week
Tom Appenheimer, Canisius

Graduate student Tom Appenheimer placed third in the Canisius Alumni Classic 8k with a time of 24:11.6. Appenheimer helped lead the Griffs to a second-place finish with 41 team points, 11 back of first-place Binghamton (30).
 
Women’s Runner of the Week
Olivia Moran, Canisius
Gr., East Amherst, NY, Williamsville North
 
Canisius graduate student Olivia Moran paced the course with a time of 17:14.5 to win the Women's 5k at the Canisius Alumni Classic. As a team, the Canisius women placed first in the 12-team event with a team total of 24 points.

The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The 2023 championships will be the first time the races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan College for the 29th time.
