Joseph Stewart picked up five first-place finishes in a pair of dual meets last weekend - four individually and one as part of a relay. Against Monmouth, he earned the top spot in the 200 free (47.12) as well as the 100 free (1:43.82) plus a third-place in the 200 IM (1:59.10). In the Rider meet, he picked up a first-place finish in the 1000 free (9:56.06), the 500 free (4:46.85), and as part of the 400 medley relay (3:06.39).
Men’s Diver of the Week:
Ethan Gibbs, Marist

Ethan Gibbs swept the podium in the win against Canisius in the diving pool. Gibbs placed first in both the one-meter (298.50) and three-meter (309.00) dives against the MAAC opponent.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
Nora Segurola-Larrinaga, Fairfield
Gr., Gipuzcoa, Spain
Nora Segurola-Larrinaga secured four individual wins and four relay victories over a pair of dual meets last weekend. She opened the weekend with top times in the 100 back (58.21) and the 100 free (53.73) against Monmouth in addition to being part of the 400 free relay (3:38.35) and the 200 Medley Relay (1:47.62). The next day, Segurola-Larrinaga came back with a first-place swim in the 200 free (1:57.38) and the 200 back (2:07.36) before contributing to the 400 Medley Relay (3:37.31) and the 200 Free Relay (1:38.36) versus Rider.
Women’s Diver of the Week:
Kyra Cavicchi, Marist
Jr., Mansfield, MA, Mansfield
Kyra Cavicchi swept the podium against Canisius in the diving pool. Cavicchi placed first in the one-meter (252.74) and three-meter (267.45) dives in the dual meet win.
The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 14-17, 2024 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
