Freshman Nicki Silverman paced Canisius in a 3-0 victory over Iona on Sunday in MAAC play. Silverman scored the game-winning goal in the 35th minute of action to give the Griffs a 1-0 lead. She helped extend the lead to 2-0 with an assist later on in the match.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Maddy Catalanotti, Marist

Sophomore goalkeeper Maddy Catalanotti recorded her third shutout of the season in a MAAC victory against Manhattan on Sunday. Catalanotti tallied six saves to keep the Jaspers from scoring and the Red Foxes improve their conference record to 2-1-1.

The 2023 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 29 through November 5. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 29, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 2, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 5.
