Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Dan Brooks, Siena, Men's Golf
Jr., Dudley, MA. /Shepherd Hill Regional HS
 
A third-year member of the program, Brooks held a 75.80 scoring average this fall with a pair of rounds under-par. He led the Saints to the 2023 MAAC Championship with an All-MAAC finish of T-3rd, and shot six rounds under-par and a pair of rounds in the 60's last season. A 2023 CSC Academic All-District selection, he holds a 3.82 cumulative GPA as a business major, and has been a member of the MAAC all-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll throughout his collegiate career. 
 
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Serafina Viola, Fairfield, Women's Swimming & Diving
Sr., Rochester, N.Y. /Penfield Senior HS

Serafina Viola has excelled both in the pool and in the classroom during her four-year career at Fairfield University. She picked up five finishes in the top three so far this season after placing first, second, or third in 13 events during the 2022-23 campaign. Her versatility has allowed her to compete in the back and free events at various distances in addition to her success on the Stags' relay teams. A marketing major, Viola has earned MAAC All-Academic honors as a sophomore and as a junior.
