Sophomore forward Harlan Obioha led the way for Niagara in its win over NJIT, recording a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double, both of which are career-highs. Obioha finished 8-for-12 from the field and 4-for-5 at the line. The Hoxie, Kansas product is the first Purple Eagle to record 15 or more rebounds in a game in six seasons. He grabbed eight rebounds on the offensive end, five of which led to a basket for the 7-footer.
Rookie of the Week
De'Shayne Mongomery, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Hargrave Military Academy
Freshman forward De’Shayne Montgomery finished with 14 points and four rebounds in the Mount's 72-65 win at Saint Francis. He went 6-of-10 from the field in the victory.
