Player of the Week & Rookie of the Week

 Siena freshman Elisa Mevius claims MAAC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 25 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals per game over this past week. Mevius’ play this week helped lead Siena to two conference wins over Manhattan and Niagara. Mevius recorded 24 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 2/9 win over Manhattan. Against Niagara on 2/11 Mevius led Siena with 26 points and six rebounds and sealed the win for the Saints with an amazing buzzer beating half-court shot. On the season the freshman has started all 25 games for the Saints and is averaging 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

 
The 2022-23 campaign culminates with the 2023 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 7-11 at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall for the fourth consecutive year.
