Iona’s Juana Camilion earns MAAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading Iona to two conference victories over the week. Camilion averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists for Iona this past week and led Iona with 22 points, eight rebounds, nd three steals in a win over Canisius on 2/4. On the season Camilion is leading The Gaels in scoring at 15.0 points per game while pulling in 5.6 rebounds and dishing out 3.4 assists per game.

Rookie of the Week
Teresa Seppala, Siena

Teresa Seppala claims MAAC Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth week in a row and sixth time this season. Seppala’s play during the week helped Siena go 1-1 in conference play. Over two games, this past week, Seppala, averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists, highlighted by a 22 point, nine rebound and four assists performance in a win over Rider on 1/26. On the season, the freshman holds averages of 11.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 41.7% from three- point territory.
