LIU’s Diba Peiravani earns this week’s Water Polo Offensive Player of the Week recognition. The junior recorded two goals and one assist in 9-6 win at No. 23 San Diego State in lone match of week.

Julia Zebak is this week’s MAAC Water Polo Defensive Player of the Week. Zebak recorded 12 saves, .667 save percentage in 9-6 win at No. 23 San Diego State
 
Rookie of the Week
Parker Thomas, Siena
Fr., Mount Maunganui, New Zealand
 
Rookie of the Week honors go to Siena’s Parker Thomas for the second consecutive week. Thomas led the Saints with ten goals at least week's Aztec Invitational in California, including five goals against #13 Princeton and a hat trick against St. Francis (PA). She also drew two exclusions and had a field block.
 
 
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 28, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 29, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 30.
