Offensive Player of the Week

MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors go to Siena’s Mary Soures. The fifth-year midfielder scored a game-high six goals including the winning goal in lifting Siena to a 13-9 MAAC victory at Iona on Saturday. In doing so, Soures also become the second player in program history to reach the 200-point plateau.

Kat Henselder, Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac senior Kat Henselder recorded 20 saves over two Quinnipiac wins this past week. She stopped an impressive 13 shots during the Bobcats' MAAC opener vs. Marist.
 
Rookie of the Week
Mia Delmond, Quinnipiac
FY., Rockville Centre, NY, South Side
 
Quinnipiac first year player, Mia Delmond, scored six goals in a pair of Quinnipiac wins this past week. She scored twice on Wednesday vs. CCSU, and four times on Saturday against Marist and recorded six ground balls for the Bobcats.
 
 

The 2023 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination tournament taking place April 30 - May 7, 2023. The Opening Round will take place on Sunday, April 30 and will be hosted by the third and fourth seeds. The semifinal and final are set for Friday, May 5 and Sunday, May 7, with the highest overall seed set to serve as host.
