Men’s Golfer of the Week

Iona’s Fletcher Wunderlich earns Golfer of the Week honors after he finished tied for third at the Battle at Rum Pointe. In the opening round he shot an impressive 67 (-5) then in round two he recorded another under par round with a 71. He finished -6 for the event two strokes behind the winner.
 

Women’s Golfer of the Week
Marina Heister, Niagara 
So., Olean, NY, Olean
 
Niagara sophomore Marina Heister posted a career-low of 79 in both rounds of the Northern Kentucky Invitational, aka "The Julie" to earn Golfer of the Week honors. She finished the 36-hole tournament tied for 34th overall with a two-round score of 158 (+16). With this recognition, Heister becomes the first Golfer of the Week in program history.


The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 21-23. The 2023 championships will mark the first time since 2014 that Disney’s Palm Golf Course will play host to the conference championship.
