Viktoria Orlova had a dominant weekend to lead Marist to a 5-0 MAAC conference record. Orlova tallied seven goals against Iona in the overtime win and five goals against Siena. Over two games this past week Orlova scored 12 total goals.
 
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Julia Zebak, LIU
Sr., Edmonton, Alberta, Austin O’Brien
 
LIU’s Julia Zebak claims Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. Zebak recorded 12 blocks against Wagner and 15 blocks against Villanova in a 11-9 win this past Saturday.
 
Rookie of the Week
Francesca Sena, Wagner

Wagner freshman Francesca Sena earns Rookie of the Week honors for back-to-back weeks after she stopped 15 shots in two wins this past week. Sena also recorded her 200th career save and recorded five steals for Wagner this past weekend.
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 28, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 29, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 30.
