Edison, NJ (Mar. 29, 2023) – Siena’s George Rusnak and Iona’s Jordan van Reeken have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

A five-year member of the program and team captain this season, Rusnak has recorded 34 goals and 20 assists over 46 career appearances for the Saints. He leads the team in assists and ranks third in scoring so far this season with eight goals and nine helps and has recorded multiple assists in four games of the year. A native of Yardley, Pennsylvania, Rusnak holds a 3.62 cumulative GPA in finance, and has been a member of the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
Jordan van Reeken

Women’s Water Polo
In three games this past week, the graduate student led the Gaels to a 2-1 week, recording 12 goals and two assists. Van Reeken leads the Gaels in goals, shots, points, drawn exclusions and steals and she is also top three in the MAAC in goals, points, blocks, and steals. In the classroom, van Reeken has been a member of the MAAC All-Academic team for the past four seasons.
