Offensive Player of the Week

Kyle Gucwa claims Offensive Player of the Week honors after he tallied five goals on only six shots in Saturday's contest at Bryant. One of Gucwa's tallies came on a man-up opportunity, for the senior's third hat trick this season and second straight.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kyle Stofko, Marist
Gr., Churchville, MD, C. Milton Wright
Defensive Player of the Week honors go to Kyle Stofko of Marist. Stofko was a key factor in the Red Foxes line of defense. Stofko had three caused turnovers, and five groundballs neutralizing his match up assignment in Bucknell's Dutch Furlong who entered the game 4th in the nation in points per game and 3rd national in assists per game. Stofko forced his assignment to his lowest shoot percentage on the season, while also turning the ball over six times in the game.
Face-Off Player of the Week
Demitri George, Quinnipiac
Gr., West Simsbury, CT, Westminster
Quinnipiac’s Demitri George earns Face-Off Player of the Week honors this week. George won 18-of-26 faceoff battles on Saturday in Hamden, picking up 11 ground balls. The two-time reigning MAAC Face-Off Specialist of the Year is 71-of-115 in faceoff battles this season.
Rookie of the Week
Justin Robbert, Quinnipiac
FY., Centereach, NY, Centereach
First year, Justin Robbert assisted on three goals for the Bobcats vs. Merrimack in Hamden. On the season he has recorded 13 total points.
The 2023 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 29 and May 6, 2023. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Saturday, April 29 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the highest seed in the field and will be played on Thursday, May 4 and Saturday, May 6.
