Byles scored 14 goals over 4 games at the Convergence Tournament on 25 shot attempts She also logged seven assists for 21 points and grabbed eight steals and drew four exclusions,  going 7-1 on sprints for the weekend.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Samantha Bright, Mount St. Mary's
So., Auckland, New Zealand
 
Bright impressed in the cage with 29 saves over two games at the California-based Convergence Tournament. Tallied 11 stops in the team's win over La Verne and added 18 more in what amounted to a busy day against #15 Pacific. She added a goal against the Tigers as time expired during the first quarter. The sophomore now possesses 41 saves for the season.
 
Rookie of the Week
Parker Thomas, Siena
Fr., Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, Rockwall (TX)
 
Thomas record 11 goals and three assists during a 2-2 weekend for the Saints at the Harvard Invitational, including a career-best six goal, three assist performance against Carthage. She also drew a pair of exclusions and recorded seven steals on the weekend.
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 28, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 29, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 30.
