Siena midfielder, Jordan Bentley, scored seven points (six goals and one assist) to go along with a team-high 12 draw controls in a 15-8 win against Canisius and matchup at Fairfield this past week.
 

Defensive Player of the Week
Caroline Mangan, Fairfield 
Gr., Bayville, NY, Locust Valley
 
Fairfield’s Caroline Mangan anchored a standout defensive effort for the Stags as they conceded just 13 total goals in two wins to claim sole possession of first place in the MAAC. The central defender racked up seven caused turnovers, four ground balls and five draw controls. Mangan also scored her first goal of the season in the Saturday's win over Siena, as she was fouled inside the arc in transition and converted the eight-meter try.
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Mia Delmond, Quinnipiac
FY., Rockville Centre, NY, South Side
 
Quinnipiac’s Mia Delmond recorded six goals and one assist over two Bobcat games, including a five-point performance on Saturday against Manhattan. Delmond scored three straight goals for the Bobcats in the second half of QU's comeback victory. The first-year player leads QU in goals (22) so far during her first season in Hamden.
 
 

The 2023 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination tournament taking place April 30 - May 7, 2023. The Opening Round will take place on Sunday, April 30 and will be hosted by the third and fourth seeds. The semifinal and final are set for Friday, May 5 and Sunday, May 7, with the highest overall seed set to serve as host.
