Offensive Player of the Week

St. Francis Brooklyn’s Sydney DeVroedt scored 13 goals in three games against Marist, Iona and Siena. The sophomore, DeVroedt, scored seven times in a win over Siena and had four steals against Marist.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Lilly Morris, Iona
Jr., Southfield, MI, Seaholm
 
Starting all four games this past week for Iona, Lilly Morris went 3-1 making 28 saves, she added 13 steals and two assists. The junior scored her second career goal against Siena this past week.
 
Rookie of the Week
Lola Trujillo, Iona
Fr., Alpharetta, GA, Foster
 
 
The freshman was second on the team with 10 goals over the four games she added seven assists for 17 points. Trujillo added three steals and was a perfect 14-for-14 on sprints.
 
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 28, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 29, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 30.
