Lake Buena Vista, FL (Apr. 20, 2023) –A total of 34 student-athletes were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’ s Golf All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Fairfield University placed the most student-athletes on the 2022-23 MAAC Men’s Golf All-Academic Team with seven selections. Mount St. Mary’s University added six honorees to the list, Siena College had five representatives, followed by Iona University’s four additions to the team. Niagara University, Rider University, and Saint Peter’s University each placed three members on the team, and Manhattan College had one representative on the all-academic team.

The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 21-23. The 2023 championships will mark the first time since 2014 that Disney’s Palm Golf Course will play host to the conference championship.
