Offensive Player of the Week
Jake Ward, Sacred Heart

Graduate student Jake Ward recorded seven points from five goals and two assists in Sacred Heart's 15-8 victory over Canisius on Saturday. In addition to his offensive stats, he also picked up one ground ball and caused one turnover.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Joseph Persico, Manhattan
Gr., Briarcliff, NY, Iona Prep
 
Persico allowed just two goals in the Jaspers' 6-2 win over Wagner on Saturday. He stopped 8-of-10 shots on goal that he faced. Persico goals against average for the regular season finished at 7.79.
 
Face-Off Player of the Week
Liam McDonough, Manhattan
Gr., Groton, MA, Groton-Dunstable
 
Liam McDonough won 10 of the 11 faceoffs against Wagner, a .909 win rate, in a 6-2 victory. The win rate was the season-best win rate for the graduate student this season. This was also the third straight game in which McDonough won at least 10 faceoff.
 
Rookie of the Week
Will Moulton, Sacred Heart

First year, Will Moulton, tallied three points in Sacred Heart's 15-8 victory over Canisius. He scored one goal and handed out two assists in the win.
 
The 2023 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 29 and May 6, 2023. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Saturday, April 29 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the highest seed in the field and will be played on Thursday, May 4 and Saturday, May 6.
