HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's golf is headed to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for the 2023 NCAA Championship as announced by the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats will compete in the Palm Beach Gardens Regional, hosted by Florida Atlantic at the PGA National Resort.
After winning its third consecutive MAAC Championship this past weekend, head coach John O'Connor's squad will travel to Westfield as the 12 seed in the region. Quinnipiac, one of seven automatic qualifiers in the region, will be joined by LSU, Texas, Northwestern, Duke, Michigan State, California, Arkansas, Alabama, South Florida and Penn.
Competition at the NCAA Regional will take place from May 8-10 with the five teams advancing to the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
