This week’s Men’s Golfer of the Week is Fairfield’s Jason Salameno who receives the honor after carding the second-best score of any player at the Southern Invitational in Sunday's final round with a five-under, 68. Salameno led the Stags' efforts at the Southern Invitational Monday and Tuesday where he finished fourth out of 60 competitors. He would finish the opening two rounds in a share of sixth place after shooting a combined one under par, before moving up two spots into the top five with an impressive final effort.

Women’s Golfer of the Week

Siena sophomore, Manoela Barcellos, earns Women’s Golfer of the Week honors after she tied for ninth at the JEL Golf Collegiate with a 36-hole score of (77-76-153).
 
 

The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 21-23. The 2023 championships will mark the first time since 2014 that Disney’s Palm Golf Course will play host to the conference championship.
