Edison, NJ (Apr. 5, 2023) – Quinnipiac’s Keegan O’Connor and Rider’s Mariah Stephens have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

In a 3-1 week for the Bobcats, Keegan O'Connor led the Quinnipiac offense for the week. The junior catcher/outfielder tallied six hits, batting .375 with two homers, six RBIs, and drew four walks.
Mariah Stephens
Rider
Women’s Track & Field
Mariah Stephens is a five-time MAAC Champion, most recently taking 60m hurdles and triple jump titles at indoor championships as the Broncs won their first league title since 2020 and their third all-time. Stephens also won the long jump and triple jump at 2022 MAAC Indoor Championships, en route to Field Most Outstanding Performer and Field Rookie of the Meet. She also took gold in the triple jump at 2022 Outdoor Championships. Stephens has also achieved in the classroom, posting a 3.33 grade-point average as a criminal justice major.
