Maddie Pleasants hit .667 with a 2.325 OPS (1.556 slugging, .769 on-base) in Marist's four games this past week. She hit safely in all four games, drove in five runs, homered twice, had four extra base hits, and drew four walks. In game one of a doubleheader against Quinnipiac on April 28, she homered twice, drove in four, and walked twice in Marist's 8-0 win. The sophomore then singled and walked in game two as Marist prevailed 8-0 again. In game one of a doubleheader against Manhattan on May 1, Pleasants had an RBI double. She was not retired in Marist's 9-0 game two win, as she singled, doubled, and walked.
 
 
Pitcher of the Week
Kiley Myers, Marist

Kiley Myers pitched a two-hit shutout and a one-hit shutout her two outings this past week. She went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA. In 11 innings, she struck out nine, walked no one, and allowed just three hits. The senior averaged 9.8 pitches per innings in her two starts. Against Quinnipiac on April 28, Myers allowed just two hits and struck out three in six innings while throwing just 57 pitches. Against Manhattan on May 1, Myers pitched in a one-hitter in a five-inning victory with six strikeouts while needing just 51 pitches.
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Tai Turner, Saint Peter’s

Tai Turner went 8/23 (.348) at the plate this week while hitting 3 HR's and accumulating 9 RBI's. The defining moment of her week was a walk-off three run homerun to secure the doubleheader sweep of Fairfield.
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Softball Championship is a six-team double elimination tournament taking place between May 10-14, 2023. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
