Saint Peter’s Ilesanmi and Marist’s Myers Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Edison, NJ (May 24, 2023) –Saint Peter's Michael Ilesanmi and Marist's Kiley Myers have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

In his final two outdoor meets of the season, Michael Ilesanmi took first place in the long jump at the MAAC Outdoor Championship and the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships. At the MAAC Championship, he won the long jump with a mark of 7.38 meters, which set his career best distance. He followed that performance with a jump of 7.32 meters and another first place finish at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships.

Kiley Myers was named Most Outstanding Player of the MAAC Softball Championship as her three victories helped the Red Foxes advance to the NCAA Tournament. She was a Second Team All-MAAC and Second Team NFCA All-Region selection this season. Myers was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week three times this season and has earned the honor six times in her career. Myers is a Criminal Justice major who was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District this year. She is a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree, a three-time selection to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and has been named to the Marist Dean's List in all seven of her previous semesters on campus.
