LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Golf will call Alabama home for four days later this month. The 2023 MAAC Champion Saints will head to the Auburn Regional in Alabama as part of the 2023 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals for its fourth national postseason appearance at the NCAA Division I level.

The 2023 MAAC Men's Golf champions gathered to continue the celebration of their fifth conference title and witness the 2023 NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show on Wednesday afternoon inside the Turchi Theater on campus.

The Saints will compete as one of 13 qualifying teams and five individual participants at the Auburn University Course in Auburn, Alabama for 54-hole action from Monday, May 15 – Wednesday, May 17. The top five teams and top five individuals not on those teams from each regional will advance to the 2023 NCAA Men's Golf Championship, set for May 26-31 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Siena claimed its fifth MAAC title and first since 2016 on Sunday, April 23, shooting a MAAC Championship 54-hole record of -7, 857 and winning by 12 strokes for the most dominant MAAC Championship performance in 11 years. A pair of Siena golfers – sophomore Dan Brooks and senior Nolan Crowley – finished inside the individual top ten to take home All-MAAC honors, while head coach Steven Jensen was named the MAAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year for the second time at the helm of the program.

The program logged previous appearances at the NCAA Division I Regionals in 2006, 2007, and 2016. Siena placed 23^rd in Chardon, Ohio in 2006, 26^th in Sugar Grove, Illinois in 2007, and 14^th in Marana, Arizona in 2016.
