Varsity 8 Boat of the Week: Canisius

The Canisius 1^st Varsity 8 boat took home first at the Black Rock Cup with a time of 7:45.1, over 15 seconds faster than Robert Morris who finished in second with a time of 8:02.8. The boat was comprised of: Cox-Macey Schneider, 8-Destiny Severn,7- Eliza Hanson,6-Olivia Merolle, 5- Hannah Kenefick,4- Lucy Winkelmann, 3- Cece Reiser, 2- Skylar Vles, Bow- Emma Maturo
 
2^nd Varsity 8 Boat of the Week: Canisius

The 2^nd Varsity 8 finished first with a time of 7:46.9 at the Black Rock Cup, nearly a full 30 seconds ahead of Robert Morris who finished in second place with a time of 8:16.4. The boat was comprised of: Cox-Morgan Marsallo, 8- Addie Naylor, 7-Jaime Bennett, 6 -Caitlin Barry, 5- Katie Bapst, 4 -Kaleigh Schwab, 3- Alice Schmidt, 2- Maddie Folsom, Bow- Brianna Shaw
 
Varsity 4 Boat of the Week: Canisius

The 1^st Varsity 4 boat picked up their first win of the spring season, wrapping up their heat with a time of 8:51.1 to defeated Mercyhurst, the defending Division II national champions, who came in second with a time of 9:00.4. The boat was comprised of: Cox-Mary Banks, 4- Brooke Urmson, 3- Mackenzie Harmon, 2-Sophie Hartzell, Bow- Julie Ducato



The 2023 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship will take place at Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, NY for the first time on May 12, 2023. Institutions will compete for the conference's automatic qualifier for the 2023 NCAA Division I Rowing Championship.
