EDISON, NJ (May 5, 2023) – A total of 135 student-athletes were named to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Marist College led all schools, placing a league-leading 24 student-athletes to the All-Academic Team. Rider University followed with 23 selections, while Iona University earned 20 honors and Mount St. Mary’s University placed 18 on the team. Manhattan College added 16 student-athletes, Siena College had 15 named to the list, followed by Canisius College with 11 honorees and rounding out the All-Academic team with eight representatives was Saint Peter’s University.
