Canisius Men’s Lacrosse Named USILA Academic Team Award Recipient

The Canisius men's lacrosse team was recognized for its efforts in the classroom as it was named a recipient of the 2023 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Academic Team Award, presented by Blatant Lacrosse.
 
The USILA Academic Team Award recognizes those programs who achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during both semesters of the 2022-23 academic year.
 
In addition to the USILA Academic Team Award, the Golden Griffins also had a total of 15 student-athletes named to the MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team in the spring. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
