Defensive Player of the Week
Jordan Spencer, Canisius

Spencer did not allow a goal in the 180 minutes she played last week, extending her shutout streak to three games. In a 0-0 draw with Detroit Mercy on Thursday, Spencer stopped all six shot attempts she faced to keep the clean sheet. On Sunday in a 1-0 win versus Youngstown State, she made three stops, earning her first shutout victory of the season.

Rookie of the Week
Megan Stowell, Siena
Fr., Wingdale, NY, Arlington

Stowell had a hand in all four Siena goals last week, finishing with three points overall on a goal and an assist over two matches down south. On Thursday, the freshman helped the Saints erase a two-goal halftime deficit in a 2-2 tie at Western Kentucky. She served in what turned out to be a deflection into an own goal, and then had the initial pass on a two-pass goal that tied the match. On Sunday, Stowell got physical credit on the scoreboard for her efforts at Lipscomb. She assisted on the opening goal, before scoring her first collegiate tally late in the first half to extend the Siena lead.
