Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Asher Barnes, Niagara, Men’s Soccer

Barnes is currently second on the Niagara men’s soccer team with three points after picking up his first assist of the season in Niagara’s 1-1 draw last Saturday at Marist. Barnes, a four-year member of the Purple Eagles is the team’s active leader in goals with six career tallies, including one this season back on Sep. 4 at Stonehill. The Toronto, Ontario, native is a two-time MAAC All-Academic selection and three-time MAAC Honor Roll honoree, with a 3.64 cumulative grade point average.

Hannah Freeman, Rider, Women’s Soccer
Sr., Lowville, NY, Lowville
Freeman has been a four-year starter and leads the Broncs with two goals so far this season, including the sixth and seventh of her Rider career. She’s also achieved in the classroom with a 3.87 grade-point average as a Health Sciences major.
