Lily Schnieders scored her first goal as a Bobcat in their lone game last week against Drexel. The graduate student’s goal would stand as the game winning goal in Quinnipiac's 2-1 victory.
Defensive Player of the Week
Sofia Lospinoso, Quinnipiac

Sofia Lospinoso was stellar in net for the Bobcats in their win over Drexel. Lospinoso made seven saves, including numerous spectacular saves in the winning effort. The senior pushed her save total from three to 10 in just one game.
Rookie of the Week
Dana Nadda, Fairfield
Fr., Cairo, Egypt, IMG Academy
Dana Nadda tallied her first collegiate goal with an absolute rocket into the top right corner of the goal in a 3-1 victory over A-10 foe Fordham. Nadda’s tally came by way of a free kick from 19 yards out in the 33rd minute to give the Stags a 1-0 lead.
The 2023 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 29 through November 5. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 29, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 2, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 5.
