Manhattan’s Yeboah and Canisius’ Spencer Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Tony Yeboah, Manhattan, Men’s Soccer
Jr., Sunyani, Ghana, Monroe College
 
Tony Yeboah is a junior transfer in his first year with the Manhattan College men’s soccer program. Through four games Yeboah has scored three points – one goal and one assist. The newcomer has made an immediate impact on the team, having started in every match so far this season. Yeboah has helped guide the Jaspers to a 0-2-2 start in non-conference play.

Jordan Spencer, Canisius, Women’s Soccer
Jr., Oxford, MI, Oxford

Golden Griffins junior goaltender Jordan Spencer is on a four-game shutout streak not allowing a goal to Binghamton, Detroit Mercy, Youngstown State, and Buffalo. She has 23 saves on the season in her four starts being named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks. An Oxford, Mich. native Spencer is majoring in animal behavior and ecology and was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team last year.
