Quinnipiac’s Tice and Niagara’s Henderson II Pick Up Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Award Honors

Sophomore forward Amarri Tice helped power the Bobcats to a win in their lone game of the week with a double-double (20 points, 15 rebounds) at Marist. He also registered 3 steals and 2 assists. Tice went 5-of-10 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the free throw line in the victory.
 
Rookie of the Week
Ahmad Hendersen II, Niagara
Fr., Chicago, IL, Brother Rice
 
In Niagara's lone game of the week, freshman gaurd Ahmad Henderson II  led all scorers with 20 points on 7-of-11 shots, while also recording four rebounds, and two assists in the Purple Eagles’ 96-72 victory over Fairfield. For Henderson, it was his 11th double-digit scoring performance of the season and thrid 20-point game.

Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College.
