Men’s Swimmer of the Week:
Ethan McCormac, Marist

Ethan McCormac had a dominant meet in the win against Lehigh. McCormac placed first in three individual races for the Red Foxes. McCormac placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.41), the 100-yard freestyle (46.81), and the 100-yard butterfly (49.93). McCormac was also a part of the first place finish of the 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:07.24). McCormac totaled 27 points in the win.
Men’s Diver of the Week:
Andrew Cataldo, Fairfield
Fr., Albany, NY, The Albany Academy
In two events against George Mason, Andrew Cataldo earned a first-place and a second-place finish in the diving competition. He opened with 233.90 points in the 1 meter dive which was just seven points off the top spot. He returned to the board and accumulated 247.90 points to win the 3 meter dive.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
April Avila, Marist
Fr., West Deptford, NJ, West Deptford
April Avila had a successful meet against Lehigh in the first meet of the new year. Avila placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Red Foxes (1:06.62). Avila also reached the podium in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing second in the meet (2:29.67).
Women’s Co-Diver of the Week:
Alexis Gaulin, Fairfield
Sr., Plainville, MA, Bishop Feehan
Alexis Gaulin was the Stags' top scorer in both the 1 and 3 meter diving events during a meet with James Madison and George Mason. She posted 241.10 points in the 3 meter and returned to the pool for the 1 meter to tally 225.05 points.
Women’s Co-Diver of the Week:
Kyra Cavicchi, Marist

Kyra Cavicchi had an impressive weekend in the Red Foxes meet against Lehigh. Cavicchi placed second in the one-meter dive in the meet (246.60).
The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 14-17, 2024 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
