Women’s Track Performer of the Week:

Jr., Chestnut Ridge, NY, Albertus Magnus
 
Junior Claire Gardner was part of the women's 4x400 relay that set the school record with a time of 4:03.25, good for third-fastest in the MAAC this season. She also clocked the fastest time in the MAAC so far this season in the 1,000 with a time of 2:52.52.
 
Women’s Field Performer of the Week:
Emma Allar Espina, Mount St. Mary's
Sr., Valdefresno, Spain, Colegio Leones Jesus Maestro
 
Senior jumper Emma Allar Espina was the victor in the long jump at the Robert Comstock Cardinal Classic, registering a distance of 5.30 meters to take first.
 
Men’s Track Performer of the Week:
Matthew Laframboise, Siena
Gr., Rochester, NY, Greece-Arcadia
 
Graduate student Matthew Laframboise finished fifth in the 1,000 with a time of 2:26,39, good for the fastest time in the MAAC this season in the event. He was also part of the 4x800 team that placed first with a time of 7:58.53. 
 
Men’s Field Performer of the Week:
Devynn Lee, Rider
Sr., Jackson, NJ, Jackson Memorial
 
Senior jumper Devynn Lee finished 2nd in the high jump, clearing 2.05m at the Villanova Invitational. It is an IC4A qualifying mark, #1 mark in the MAAC, and #5 mark all time at Rider
 
The 2024 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24-25, 2024, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at The Armory for the 20th consecutive year. With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
