Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Todd Charles, Mount St. Mary’s, Track & Field
Gr., Brooklyn, NY, Xavieran
Charles embarks on his graduate season looking to further cement his legacy at Mount St. Mary’s. Through his first four seasons in Emmitsburg, he is the record holder for the 60 meter and 200 meter dashes for indoor track, and the 100 meter record holder for the outdoor season. As a senior he made his first appearance at the NCAA East First Round, participating in the 100m dash. Outside of holding record, he has earned his place in numerous events as a top 10 all-time Mountaineer.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Ciara Croker, Marist, Women's Basketball
Soph., New Rochelle, NY, The Ursuline School
Croker has enjoyed success on the floor and in the classroom at Marist. Croker is a Business Administration major and was named to the Dean's List each of the last two semesters. She was selected to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll following the 2022-23 season.On the floor, Croker is having a breakout sophomore campaign for the Red Foxes. The New Rochelle native is averaging career-highs in minutes, points, and rebounds per game. She’s totaled career-high efforts of eight points twice this season and has grabbed career-high totals of five rebounds twice as well.
