Men’s Swimmer of the Week:
Michael Faughnan, Iona

In the meet against Fordham, Faughnan took three golds, including back-to-back efforts in the 1000-Free and the 200-Free with times of 9:46.48 and 1:40.44, respectively. He also won the 500-Free at 4:43.86. Against Manhattan, he posted three more wins including a team and pool record in the 100-yard Individual Medley with a time of 49.88 Faughnan also touched first in the 100 and 200-Backstroke.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
Paige South, Niagara
Jr., Uniontown, OH, Hoover High School
On Friday, South won the 200 free with the MAAC's best time this season, 1:52.74, followed by the 100 back with the conference's third-best time of 56.60. On Saturday the junior was a member of both 200 medley and 400 free relay-winning teams, while also winning the 100 fly with a time of 56.96. She also finished second in the 50 free with a time of 23.81.
Women’s Diver of the Week:
Talia Spenziero, Siena
Sr., Clifton Park, NY, Shenendehowa
Spenziero won both diving events in dual meet action against Saint Peter's with scores of 251.00 in one-meter diving and 238.25 in three-meter diving.
The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 14-17, 2024 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
