Fairfield’s Meghan Andersen Sweeps Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Meghan Andersen led the Stags in their sweep of Western New York averaging nearly 25.0 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor and drilling eight 3-pointers. In the win over Niagara, Andersen broke the program's rookie single game scoring record with 30 points on 11-for-16 shooting. She also averaged 6.5 rebounds in leading the Stags to their 10th-straight win.
 
The 2023-24 campaign culminates with the 2024 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 12-16 at Atlantic City's Historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall for the fifth consecutive year dating back to 2020.
