Camryn Luginbuhl, Sacred Heart

Senior outside hitter Camryn Luginbuhl led the MAAC with 46 kills (5.11/set) in two matches last weekend. She was also second on the team with 28 digs (3.11/set) with two straight 20-kill, 10-dig double-doubles. She started the weekend with 26 kills and 15 digs against Canisius in five sets before racking up 20 kills and 13 digs against Niagara in four sets.
Setter of the Week
Gaby Zovko, Sacred Heart

Sophomore setter Gaby Zovko was third in the MAAC with 88 assists (9.78/set), adding 17 kills (1.89/set) and 17 digs (1.89/set) as an all-around player. In her first match of the weekend, she tallied a 50-assist, 10-kill, 10-dig triple-double against Canisius, becoming the seventh DI player to tally at least three triple-doubles. Zovko then tallied 38 assists, seven kills and seven digs in four sets against Niagara.
Libero of the Week
Jillian Hanna, Canisius
Sr, Kent, OH, Roosevelt
Senior libero Jillian Hanna led the Golden Griffins with 58 digs over ten sets across two matches this past weekend, averaging 5.8 digs per set while passing a 2.40 on 48 attempts. Hanna notched a career-high 28 digs in a five-set victory over Sacred Heart on Saturday. The Kent, Ohio native topped her career high less than a day later as she recorded 30 digs in a five-set loss to Fairfield.
Rookie of the Week
Valeria Pagan Munoz, Saint Peter's
Fr., Isabela, Puerto Rico, Friedrich Froebel Bilingual School
Rookie Valeria Pagan Munoz had an outstanding weekend, playing in all six sets across two matches. Against Siena, she led the team with 11 kills on 26 attempts, hitting .231, while adding seven digs and 12 total points. She followed this performance with a season-high 12 kills and 13 digs against Marist, marking the first double-double of her career. She totaled 13.5 points in the match (season-high), swinging at .286 on the day.
The 2024 MAAC Volleyball Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 21-24, 2024 at UHY Center in Loudonville, NY on the campus of Siena College. The first round will take place on Thursday, November 21, followed by the second round on Friday, November 22, the semifinals on Saturday, November 23, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 24.
