Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Caden Hardy, Marist
Jr., Chicago, IL, Evanston Township
 
Hardy opened the season with two podium finishes for Marist at the Army Tri-Meet. In the 50-yard breaststroke for the Red Foxes, Hardy posted an impressive time of 25.92 in the race, which was the fastest Red Fox time, placing third. Hardy also placed on the podium in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in third with a time of 56.71.
  
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
April Avila, Marist
So., West Deptford, NJ, West Deptford
 
Avila dominated the sixth event for the Red Foxes in the 50-yard breaststroke. The sophomore finished second overall out of 12 swimmers with a speedy time of 29.62. Avila once again showed her speed in the 100-yard breaststroke in the meet. Avila swam to a second-place finish in the meet with a time of 1:04.69.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 12-15, 2025, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2025 will mark the second straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
