Offensive Player of the Week
Rachel Roman, Quinnipiac

Senior midfielder Rachel Roman led the Bobcats offensively last week as she recorded seven points in two games. Roman netted her first career hat-trick in Quinnipiac's 5-0 win over Merrimack on Wednesday. Roman also registered an assist to give her seven points in one game for Quinnipiac. Roman capped off her hat-trick with a penalty kick goal in the final minutes of the win.
Defensive Player of the Week
Cate Burns, Siena
Fr., Spencerport, NY, Spencerport
Freshman goalkeeper Burns registered a pair of clean sheets in goal to help lead the Saints to a perfect 2-0 week. On Wednesday, the freshman anchored a defensive unit which secured a double clean sheet – holding Manhattan both scoreless and without a shot on goal – in a pivotal 3-0 victory which leapfrogged Siena over the Jaspers in the MAAC Standings. Burns added four saves in another shutout performance Saturday in a 2-0 road win at Rider, securing the third clean sheet in her past four outings.
Rookie of the Week
Adelaide Paredes, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Newark, N.J., East Side
Freshman goalkeeper Adelaide Parades limited a pair of MAAC Top 3 teams - Canisius and Quinnipiac - to one goal over two matches, playing the full 180 minutes. Paredes made 10 saves, five against each team. Mount earned a 1-1 draw over the Golden Griffins and a 2-0 win over the Bobcats.
The 2024 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 3-10, 2024. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The quarterfinals will take place on Sunday, November 3, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 7, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 10.
