Siena’s Brown and Fairfield’s Snayd Honored as Jersey Mike’s MAAC Cross Country Weekly Award Winners

Brown clocked in at 24:47.8 in the men's 8K at the IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championships at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, NY this past Friday to place ninth overall.  The Siena men (211) finished eighth out of 24 teams who competed in the field, beating out the likes of top competitors such as Wagner (226), UMBC (252), Stonehill (274), Fordham (339), Yale (348), Lafayette (354), Marist (387), Seton Hall (453), Monmouth (529), Fairfield (569), NJIT (586), Mount St. Mary's (621), Quinnipiac (635), FDU (638), LIU (646) and Saint Peter's (772).
 
Women’s Runner of the Week
Hannah Snayd, Fairfield

Hannah Snayd won the individual ECAC Championship on Friday, breaking the tape on the 6K course in 20:41.9. Snayd topped the 251-runner field by nearly nine seconds for her second individual win of the fall. Her time was also a personal best for a 6K.
 
The 2024 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The men’s 8k race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the women’s 6k race will follow at 12:00 p.m. 2024 will mark the second straight year that the championship races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan University for the 30th time.
