Men’s Runner of the Week
Billy Coakley, Merrimack

Billy Coakley had an impressive performance, leading the Warriors in the 5k course with his time of 14:45.40. Coakley earned a top-10 finish, coming in seventh in a field of over 80 runners.
 
Women’s Runner of the Week
Elizabeth Freymann, Mount St. Mary's
Jr., Severna Park, MD, Chesterton Academy of Annapolis
 
Elizabeth Freymann won the LVC Last Chance Run this past weekend as well as this being her first appearance this season. She led the Mountaineers as a team in this run with her finish in first place. Freymann ran the race in 23:33.7. She ran each mile with an average time of 06:19.2 in the women's 6k race.
 
The 2024 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The men’s 8k race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the women’s 6k race will follow at 12:00 p.m. 2024 will mark the second straight year that the championship races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan University for the 30th time.
