Fairfield’s Wright, Canisius’ Oliphant, and Siena’s Rogers Earn Final Jersey Mike’s MAAC Women’s Soccer Weekly Award Honors

Goalkeeper Katie Wright secured a clean sheet with three saves in Fairfield's biggest win of the season, defeating Quinnipiac 2-0 to clinch the MAAC Regular Season Championship.
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Catherine Rogers, Siena

Freshman Catherine Rogers recorded her eighth assist – one off the program single-season record – to propel Siena to a 1-0 victory Wednesday over Marist in the regular season finale. The conference’s top freshman scorer assisted on the lone goal of the afternoon as the Saints secured their fourth straight win, equaling the program’s longest win streak in seven years. Rogers also tied for the match lead with five shots.
 
 
The 2024 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 3-10, 2024. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The quarterfinals will take place on Sunday, November 3, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 7, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 10.
