Marist’s Fletcher, Niagara’s Bodyl, and Sacred Heart’s Boyers Named Jersey Mike’s MAAC Swimming & Diving Weekly Award Winners

Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Kellen Fletcher, Marist
Sr., Wrightstown, NJ, Northern Burlington
 
Kellen Fletcher had an impressive meet in the Red Foxes fifth-straight win against Colgate. Fletcher placed first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:55.74, beating the second-place finisher by 4 seconds. Fletcher continued with an impressive swim in the 200-yard IM, swimming to a time of 2:01.00. Fletcher was also a part of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team for the Red Foxes.
  
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Ola Boydl, Niagara
Fr., Ann Arbor, MI, Brighton
 
Bodyl set a new pool record and won the 400-yard individual medley (4:29.10), while also winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.03), and was a member of the 200-yard breaststroke relay that took first. Her 400 IM time is best in the MAAC, while her 100 breast time ranks seventh. 
 
Women’s Diver of the Week
Phifey Boyers, Sacred Heart
1Y., Sacramento, CA, Christian Brothers
 
In the win against Siena and loss to Rider over the weekend, Phifey Boyers led the one-two sweep of the 1M with a score of 230.95. The first year took second in the 3M with a score of 243.05.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 12-15, 2025, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2025 will mark the second straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
