Quinnipiac’s Foley and Merrimack’s Fiore Named Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award Winners

Sophomore forward Anna Foley had herself a week as she helped lead the Bobcats to two more wins on the year. In the game against Cornell on Nov. 21st, Foley scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked three shots, recorded two steals, and dished out one assist to stuff the stat sheet. On Sunday against Maine, Anna Foley led the Bobcats with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists to earn the Bobcats their fifth win of the season. In 29.9 minutes per game this past week, Foley averaged 17.0 points per game on 52% shooting. 
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Mia Fiore, Merrimack

Freshman guard Mia Fiore finished with 20 points, six assists and five rebounds against NJIT to lead the Warriors to an 87-76 victory. She chipped in four points, two steals and two rebounds against Yale.
