Jersey Mike’s MAAC Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards Announced

Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Maxwell Connelly, Rider
So., Kinnelon, NJKinnelon
 
Connelly was a part of three new Coppola Pool records during Rider's dual meet vs. Villanova, setting marks of 55.45 in the 100-breast and 2:03.57 in the 200-breast. Connelly was also a member of the 200-medley relay team swam a new pool record of 1:30.53. The times in the 200-breast and 200-medley relay rank first in the MAAC this season with the time in the 100-breast ranking second in the conference this year.
 
Men’s Diver of the Week
Dylan Riccio, Iona
Jr., Harrison, NY, Archbishop Stepinac
 
Riccio, a junior, continued his strong springboard efforts with wins in the 1 and 3-meter events in a dual meet against Monmouth. Riccio scored a 254.10 in the 1-meter dive and posted a score of 271.88 in the 3-meter diving event.
  
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Daphne Mead, Canisius
Fr., Baltimore, MD, Dulaney
 
For the second straight meet, Mead took first in all three of her individual events, winning the 200 free (1:56.57), 100 butterfly (58.66) and 100 IM (59.89). Mead's time's this season rank highly among other MAAC swimmers, holding top-five times in the 100 and 200 backstroke and the fastest time in the 200 IM (2:07.49).
 
Women’s Co-Diver of the Week
Elizabeth Beaulieu, Fairfield
Sr., Southington, CT, Southington
 
Elizabeth Beaulieu picked up a first and third place in last weekend's dual meet with Marist. She scored 209.93 for the top spot in the 3-meter dive in addition to securing third place in the 1 meter with 208.20 points.
 
Women’s Co-Diver of the Week
Emma Todd, Iona
So., Wichita, KS, Andover
 
Emma Todd, a sophomore, won the 1 and 3-meter Springboard events in a dual meet against Monmouth. Todd posted a score of 210.90 in the 1-meter dive and scored a 212.41 in the 3-meter diving event.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 12-15, 2025, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2025 will mark the second straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
