Canisius graduate student Jasman Sangha scored a career-high 26 points and collected a career-best three steals in the Golden Griffins' home loss to Maine on Saturday. In that game, Sangha scored 17 of his 26 points in the second half as Canisius whittled down a 15-point deficit midway through the second half. He made a career-high nine field goals and matched a career-high with two makes from 3-point land.
 
Rookie of the Week
Evan van der Plas, Canisius

Canisius freshman Evan van der Plas came off the bench and scored a season-high eight points to go with two rebounds and an assist in the Golden Griffins' home loss to Maine. He made three field goals in the contest, his first career game with multiple makes from the floor, and two of those buckets came from beyond the 3-point line.
