Ethan Rogowski, Rider

Ethan Rogowski earned a trio of first place finishes for Rider in a dual meet win over Mount St. Mary's. Rogowski won the 800-free in 9:04.52 and the 400-free with a time of 4:20.53. He was also a member of the winning 400-free relay team that swam 3:31.81.

Stavros Xantheas, Rider

Stavros Xantheas won both boards in Rider's dual meet win over Mount St. Mary's. Xantheas scored 246.45 on the 1-meter dive and 229.95 on the 3-meter dive.
  
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Sophia Velleco, Sacred Heart
So., Seymour, CT, Seymour
 
Sophia Velleco placed 47th in the 5k out of 108 swimmers at the CSCAA College Open Water Championship hosted by FIU in the Biscayne Bay on Sunday morning. The sophomore completed the race in 1:10:41.51. Velleco posted the fastest 5k of MAAC competitors and the majority of athletes ahead of her came from a power five or a higher level conference.
 
Women’s Diver of the Week
Maiti O'Connor, Rider

Maiti O'Connor posted a pair of top finishes in Rider's dual meet against Mount St Mary's. O'Connor scored 217.73 on the 1-meter dive to win and 224.10 on the 3-meter to take second.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 12-15, 2025, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2025 will mark the second straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
