Adam “Budd” Clark led Merrimack in scoring in both of its MAAC wins last week. Clark scored 22 points in the Warriors victory over Canisius and 18 points in the Merrimack win over Niagara. He also averaged 6.5 assists in the two games, dishing out a season-high nine assists against Niagara on Sunday afternoon. The point guard from Philly also went a perfect 16-of-16 from the free throw line over the two contests.
 
Rookie of the Week
Will Sydnor, Manhattan

Sydnor helped lead Manhattan to a 1-1 start to MAAC play, highlighted by his 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three blocks in a thrilling 70-67 win over Saint Peter's on Friday. Sydnor unearthed a devastating one-handed tomahawk dunk that cut the Peacocks lead to 45-43 with 15:46 left as the Jaspers successfully chipped away. On Sunday, Sydnor hit four more threes for 17 points to keep Manhattan in the game in an 82-75 defeat vs. Marist. He also supplied three boards, two assists and two blocks in the game.
 
The 2024-25 campaign culminates with the 2025 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 11-15 at Atlantic City's Historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall for the sixth consecutive year dating back to 2020.
